NEIGHBOURING PREDICTION FOR MORTALITY

چکیده

Abstract We propose a new neighbouring prediction model for mortality forecasting. For each rate at age x in year t , m x,t we construct an image of neighbourhood data around that is, Ꜫ ( 1 2 s ), which includes information ages [ - + ], lagging k years (1 ≤ ). Combined with the deep learning – convolutional neural network, this framework is able to capture intricate nonlinear structure data: effect, can go beyond directions period, age, and cohort as classic models. By performing extensive empirical analysis on all 41 countries regions Human Mortality Database, find proposed models achieve superior forecasting performance. This be further enhanced patterns interactions between multiple populations.

Data-Driven Mortality Prediction for Trauma Patients

Trauma is the leading cause of death between the ages of 1 to 44. A large number of these deaths occur within days of the arrival of the patient at the hospital. Accurate prediction of the outcomes of trauma patients and the identification of a few key predictors would be highly valuable. In this paper we focus on (1) the prediction of mortality within any given time frame after arrival, and (2...

Sats can be used for mortality prediction

Methods We did not find any publication reporting mortality prediction using SATS. To determine mortality prediction, we decided to use data from patients admitted to the Hopital Nap Kenbe of MSF in Port au Prince, Haiti. Data from 5813 patients admitted to that institution from 01/01/2013 to 31/12/2014 were used. Age of the patients, motif of admission according to MSF classification, triage c...

Neonatal mortality risk prediction.

Infant and child mortality is a health indicator of society in general, and a significant number of these deaths occurs at Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Efforts aimed at preventing infant and child mortality are effective only if based on reasonably reliable information regarding death-related factors. Information is required on risk factors leading to such outcomes in order to prioritize inte...

Local Distance’s Neighbouring Quantification

Mobility is one of the basic features that define an ad hoc network, an asset that leaves the field free for the nodes to move. The most important aspect of this kind of network turns into a great disadvantage when it comes to commercial applications, take as an example: the automotive networks that allow communication between a groups of vehicles. The ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) ro...

Time trends in avoidable cancer mortality in Switzerland and neighbouring European countries 1996-2010.

QUESTION UNDER STUDY What are the trends in avoidable cancer mortality in Switzerland and neighbouring countries? METHODS Mortality data and population estimates 1996-2010 were obtained from the Swiss Federal Statistical Office for Switzerland and the World Health Organization Mortality Database (http://www.who.int/healthinfo/mortality_data/en/) for Austria, Germany, France and Italy. Age sta...
